Center Board Member Dr. Adriana Galván Awarded a 2019 Troland Research Award
UCLA's Dr. Adriana Galván, a member of the Center's Board and founding leadership team, has been awarded a 2019 Troland Research Award for her pioneering work studying adolescent brain development and behavior and its impact on policy and juvenile justice.
Two Troland Research Awards of $75,000 are given annually for unusual achievement by investigators under 40 years old. The winners will be honored in a ceremony on Sunday, April 28, during the National Academy of Sciences' 156th annual meeting.
